By Christopher Hahn, PhD, MBA
Published in Family Mediation News

A recent empirical study by Hahn confirms Elkins' pioneering clinical experience. Both authors found that dual-home parents (a) were committed to parenting and saw the importance of both parents, (b) cooperated in spite of negative feelings, (c) adequately coordinated parental activities, (d) tried to do the best for their children, (e) were flexible, and (f) made sacrifices but also felt rewarded.
